Let The Redeemed Say So - October 5, 2025
Scripture:
“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble - Psalm 107:2 ESV
Devotional:
Being redeemed means being bought back, rescued, and restored. God didn’t just save you from sin. He saved you from cycles, from shame, from destruction, and from the enemy’s grip. And when He redeems you, it’s not meant to be kept silent.
This is why I’m always willing to share and so vocal about my life, because God has been so good to me! My testimony is my weapon against any attack of the enemy. Every time I tell my story, I remind the enemy that he lost. God did it before, and He will certainly do it again.
Your testimony is not a liability; it’s a light. When you speak of what God has done, you remind others that He can do the same for them. Silence may feel safe, but it robs God of glory and robs others of hope. The redeemed don’t whisper their gratitude, they declare it!
Sometimes you have to remind yourself too: I’m redeemed. I’ve been through the fire, but I didn’t burn. I’ve fallen, but I got up. I’ve cried, but I’ve also healed. Every time you say “God did it,” you’re testifying that His grace is still at work.
So today, speak up. Don’t downplay what God has done to make others comfortable. Let the redeemed say so. Speak life, speak victory, speak redemption, because your voice has power.
Reflection/Challenge:
Today, take a moment to tell someone, or even post publicly, what God has brought you through. Be bold enough to say so.
Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.
Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.
Lord, thank You for redeeming me. Thank You for saving me, restoring me, and giving me a new beginning. Give me the courage to tell my story so that others can see Your goodness. I am not ashamed of what You’ve done, I’ll proclaim it boldly. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.
