God Did It - October 3, 2025
Scripture:
“This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.” - Psalms 118:23 NKJV
Devotional:
Every breakthrough, every door that opened, every way that was made, it was God. Sometimes we forget how much He has already done because we are so focused on what we’re still waiting for. But if you look back, you’ll see His fingerprints all over your life.
That healing you received? God did it. The strength that carried you through grief? God did it. The protection that kept you safe from what could have destroyed you? God did it. Even the closed doors that didn’t make sense at the time, those too were God’s doing, preserving you for something better.
When God moves, He often does it in ways that man cannot take credit for. That’s why testimonies sound so powerful, because they shift the glory away from us and onto Him. Your story becomes a declaration: “If it had not been for the Lord on my side…”
And here’s the promise: the same God who did it before will do it again. Your past testimonies are proof that He’s still working, still faithful, and still making ways today.
Reflection/Challenge:
Think of one specific moment in your life that only God could have done. Speak it out loud today and say: “God did it, and He will do it again.”
Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.
Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.
Father, thank You for all that You’ve done in my life. Thank You for the victories seen and unseen, for the blessings known and unknown. I recognize that every good thing came from You. Remind me daily that my story is Your story, one that declares, “God did it.” And I trust You to do it again. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.
