Just Receive It - September 5, 2025

Scripture:

“So I tell you this. When you pray to ask God for anything, believe in him. Believe that you have received that thing. Then you will have whatever you have asked for.” - Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬ ‭(EASY‬‬)

Devotional:

There comes a time when your prayers shift from asking to receiving. You’ve already cried, labored, sowed, and waited, and God has seen it all. He has held you in the moments when you couldn’t push any further, when you wanted to give up, and when the weight felt too heavy. That’s why this moment isn’t just about what you’ve done, but it’s about who He is.

Faith means declaring, “It is mine,” even when the evidence hasn’t shown up yet. The enemy wants to convince us that delay means denial, but God says delay is preparation. He has been aligning the right doors, the right timing, and the right people for you to walk into the promise without striving.

There will always be opposition when you step into a new season such as doubts, fears, distractions, or even people who don’t believe in you. But none of those things can cancel what God has already spoken. When He says it’s yours, no devil in hell, no mistake in your past, and no delay can stop it.

Today, God is saying: Just receive it. Not because you are perfect, but because He is faithful. Not because you earned it, but because He promised it.

Reflection/Challenge:

Think about the prayers you’ve prayed, the tears you’ve cried, and the battles you’ve endured. Can you shift your faith today from asking to receiving? Begin to thank God in advance as though it’s already done. Speak life, declare His promises, and walk in the confidence that the breakthrough is not on the way, IT’S HERE!!!!

Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.

Lord, thank You in advance for what You are doing in my life today. I believe that what I prayed for is already mine. Help me to walk in confidence, not fear, and to speak as though it is finished. I trust that no weapon formed against me will prosper and that every plan You have for me is good. Strengthen me to stand in faith when doubt tries to rise. Thank You for being faithful to Your word and for reminding me that all I need to do is receive it. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.
