Let Them Go, God Is Doing a New Thing - October 25, 2025

Scripture:

“The Lord did all that for you, but now says, ‘Forget those things that happened a long time ago. Do not think about past events. Look! Now I will do something that is new! It is already beginning to happen. Surely, you can recognize it. Yes, I will make a road through the desert. I will make streams in the wilderness.” - Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬

Devotional:

God is saying to you today:

“My child, listen closely, there are people who can walk away from your life. Let them. I am not asking you to beg anyone to stay, love you, support you, or walk with you. When someone walks away, let them go.

Their departure is not a reflection of your worth; it’s confirmation of My plan. I remove what no longer serves you. I disconnect what distracts you. I sever what delays you.

Trust Me with the pruning, it’s always for greater fruit. And no, they’re not always bad people; their role in your story has simply come to an end. Stop resurrecting what I’ve laid to rest. Don’t hold on to what I’ve already released.

I’m doing a new thing in your life, and it starts with you letting go.”

This is your reminder that every closed door and ended connection is divine redirection. You are not losing, you are being cleared for what’s next.

Challenge/Reflection:

Ask yourself: What am I still holding on to that God already released? Trust Him enough to unclench your hands, because He’s making room for better.

Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.

Ask yourself: What am I still holding on to that God already released? Trust Him enough to unclench your hands, because He’s making room for better. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.

Declaration:

“I will no longer fight for what God has already freed me from. I trust His hand in the pruning and His plan in the process.”
