For The Rest Of The Year- October 23, 2025
Scripture:
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” - Psalms 23:6 NKJV
Devotional:
For the rest of the year, I’m believing God for peace, the kind that quiets every storm within me.
For the rest of the year, I’m choosing gratitude, not because everything is perfect, but because God still deserves the praise.
For the rest of the year, I’m walking in confidence, knowing that what God started, He will finish.
This year may not have gone exactly how you thought, but God has not changed His plans concerning you. His promises are still intact. His favor still rests on your name. What’s ahead may not look certain, but what’s sure is that God is still working behind the scenes for your good.
So for the rest of the year keep believing, keep praising, keep standing. You don’t have to chase what’s already been appointed to you. Trust that everything that belongs to you will find you in divine timing.
Challenge/Reflection:
Ask yourself: What if the rest of the year is where God redeems everything that didn’t make sense before?
Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.
Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.
Father, thank You for keeping me this far. I commit the rest of this year to You. Let Your peace guard my heart, Your joy strengthen my spirit, and Your will guide my every step. I trust that everything You’ve spoken over my life will come to pass in Your way, in Your time, and for Your glory. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.
Declaration:
“For the rest of the year, I will rest in God’s timing, walk in His peace, and trust His promises to come to pass.”
