Jesus Kept Me : In The Midst Of It All - October 22, 2025

Scripture:

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.” - Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Devotional:

The song “In the Midst of It All” by Yolanda Adams reminds us that even when the storms come, when people walk away, when the weight feels too heavy, God never leaves. His keeping power isn’t about removing us from the fire; it’s about protecting us through it.

You may not even realize how much God shielded you. While you were crying, He was covering you. While you were unsure, He was steadying your steps. While others doubted your comeback, He was preparing your victory.

So today, pause and thank Him, not just for what He brought you to, but for what He kept you through.

Challenge/Reflection:

Think back over your life. Where can you clearly see that it was Jesus, and only Jesus, who kept you?

Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.

Lord, I thank You for keeping me, in the midst of it all. You kept me through every fire, through every storm, through every high and low. You’ve been so good to me, better to me than I’ve ever been to myself. Thank You for being with me in the middle of it all. Thank You for Your presence, for Your peace, and for never leaving my side. Thank You for not only bringing me into this place of victory, but for keeping me in the process and never leaving me alone. You are so faithful. I love You, Lord. You are my everything. Thank You, Jesus, for everything. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.

Declaration:

“I didn’t keep myself. Jesus kept me in the midst of it all.”
