God Made Me- April 3, 2025
Scripture:
”But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:10 (NKJV)
Devotional:
You didn’t make it here on your own. Every step you’ve taken, every battle you’ve overcome, every door that opened…it’s all because of GRACE. You are who you are today not because of perfection, but because God’s hand has been on your life. Grace carried you. Grace kept you. Grace restored you when you didn’t even know you were broken.
Paul could’ve boasted about his labor, his transformation, and how hard he worked. But he knew the truth, it was grace that empowered it all. That same grace is on your life too. Even if you’re tired, even if you’ve fallen short, even if you’re still becoming. His grace is not in vain!!
So don’t downplay your journey. Don’t shrink back because of who you used to be or what you’re still overcoming. Stand tall in the grace that made you, shaped you, and is still molding you into His masterpiece. Let today be a reminder that your worth is not found in your works but in the unshakable, undeniable grace of God.
Reflection/Challenge:
Write down the phrase: “By the grace of God, I am what I am.” Say it aloud when you feel unqualified or undeserving. Let it be your affirmation throughout the day.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your grace. I am nothing without You, and everything I am becoming is because of You. Help me to walk in that truth boldly, not shrinking back in shame but standing firm in the identity You’ve given me. Let Your grace not be in vain in my life. Keep me humble, grateful, and consistent as I labor for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
