Thank God For It All - April 1, 2025

Scripture:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
— Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

Devotional:
There’s a special kind of freedom that comes when you stop trying to separate your life into “good” and “bad,” and start thanking God for all of it. Every painful moment. Every joyful victory. Every confusing delay. Because when you belong to God, nothing is wasted. Not a single tear. Not a single trial. It all works together for your good.

You may not have understood it while you were in it. You may have questioned if God even heard you. But now, looking back, you can see His fingerprints. You can see how that hardship made you stronger. How that setback redirected you. How the loss made room for something better.

That’s why today is about gratitude. Not just for the sunshine, but for the rain too. For the moments when you didn’t know how you’d make it, and somehow—you did. You’re still here. And that’s evidence of God’s hand.

So lift your hands, not just in celebration of the blessings, but in honor of the breaking. Because the breaking made you, too.

Reflection/Challenge:
Take 5–10 minutes today to list five things that didn’t feel good at the time—but now you know God used them for your growth. Thank Him for each one.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for it all. The highs and the lows. The answers and the silence. The healing and even the heartbreak. I trust that You’ve used every moment to mold me for Your purpose. Today, I choose gratitude over complaining, praise over pity, and faith over fear. You’re working all things for my good, and I’m so thankful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
