Positioned for the Blessing - September 25, 2025

Scripture:

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.” - Proverbs‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Devotional:

You’re standing in faith for release, but your heart posture today is just as powerful as your request: “Lord, position me to carry this blessing well.” That prayer shows maturity, because blessings bring responsibility. God doesn’t just want to hand you an open door, but He wants to prepare you to walk through it with wisdom.

Pride, fear, and distraction are the three enemies of blessing. Pride says, “I earned this.” Fear whispers, “I can’t handle this.” And distraction doesn’t just steal your attention, it pulls you out of focus. When you’re distracted, you risk mishandling the very blessing you prayed for. You stop working, stop preparing, stop stewarding the opportunity the right way. But when you stay rooted in humility, anchored in faith, and fixed on God, the blessing will not just be received, it will be sustained.

Remember, blessings are never just for us. When God releases favor, it’s designed to flow through us to others. Think of Joseph, his blessing positioned him not only to be elevated, but to save an entire nation. In the same way, what God is releasing in your life is not just for your joy, but also for the impact on everyone connected to you.

Reflection/Challenge:

Ask yourself today: Am I prepared to carry the blessing I’ve been praying for? Write down one area where you need God’s help to stay humble, focused, or fearless, and surrender it to Him in prayer.

Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.

Lord, thank You for the blessings You are preparing to release in my life. Position me to carry them well. Guard me from pride, fear, and distraction. Let my heart remain humble, my faith remain strong, and my focus remain on You. May every blessing not only lift me but also glorify You and overflow to bless those connected to me. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.
