He’ll Find A Way To Get The Glory - August 25, 2025

Scripture:

“They will say that your kingdom has great glory! They will speak about your royal power. Then everyone will agree that you do great things. They will know about the glory of your kingdom. - ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭EASY‬‬

Devotional:

We often expect God’s glory to shine through victories, blessings, and obvious successes. But some of the greatest testimonies are birthed out of broken places, unexpected detours, and painful seasons. Joseph was betrayed and thrown into a pit, but God used it to position him in a palace. Paul was imprisoned, but the letters he wrote behind bars are now the Scriptures we live by today.

What looks like chaos in your life may actually be the very stage God is setting to display His power. He doesn’t just get glory from the wins; He gets glory from the waiting, the weeping, and the wilderness too. The truth is, whether it’s the promotion you prayed for, or the patience He’s teaching you to walk in, God will always use it for His glory.

Sometimes, we try to control the outcome or prove our worth by overworking, people-pleasing, or trying to force things into place. But if it’s not His will, it won’t stand. And if it is His will, He will make it happen without you having to compromise your faith, integrity, or peace. All He asks is surrender.

God doesn’t need our control to shine. His glory is revealed in ways bigger than we can imagine, sometimes in the simplest or most unexpected places.

Your setback may feel final, but God can weave it into a testimony. Your delay may feel endless, but God can use it to show His timing is perfect. The truth is, nothing is wasted when He’s involved. Every part of your story, both the victories and the struggles, is an opportunity for Him to be glorified.

So, stop worrying about how God will do it. Just trust that He will. And when He does, it will be undeniable that the glory belongs to Him alone. People will see your life and say, “The Lord did this. He is great. His power is real.”

Reflection/Challenge:

Where in your life have you been trying to force the outcome? Are you weary because you’re carrying what belongs to God? Today, release it. Hand it back to Him. Remember: His ways are higher, His timing is perfect, and He will find a way to get the glory, whether through the yes, the no, or the wait.

Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.

Father, thank You for reminding me that You work all things together for good. Lord, thank You for reminding me that You always find a way to get the glory. Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to hold on to control instead of trusting You. Help me to release my plans and let You shine in my life. Just as the heavens declare Your greatness, let my life declare Your power and goodness. Use every part of my story for Your glory. Help me to trust You, even when I don’t understand the process. Lord, I surrender every detail of my life to You. Use it for Your glory. Be magnified in my wins, but also in my weakness. And may my life be a living testimony that points people back to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Thank God, Amen.
