When Truth Wins — November 11, 2025

Scripture:

“It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.” - 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Devotional:

Real love doesn’t celebrate when others stumble, it rejoices when truth rises. In a world where gossip trends faster than grace and people find humor in others’ downfalls, God’s love calls us higher.

We live in a world that celebrates exposure but forgets restoration. A world that laughs at failure but ignores redemption. But God’s love, real biblical love, doesn’t find pleasure in seeing others fail. It rejoices when truth, healing, and righteousness take their rightful place.

Love doesn’t clap for karma; it stands for correction. It doesn’t say, “That’s what they get”; it says, “Lord, help them grow.” Because when truth wins, everyone wins, hearts heal, pride breaks, and God gets the glory.

When Paul wrote to the Corinthians, he wasn’t just describing romantic love, he was describing God’s heart. Love doesn’t say, “That’s what they get.”

Love says, “Lord, help them grow.”

Love doesn’t find satisfaction in seeing someone corrected; it finds joy when correction leads to change. It takes a mature heart to celebrate what’s right instead of what’s messy.

But that’s where God’s love lives, in the moments where mercy triumphs over judgment, and Grace silences gossip.

Truth without love is harsh, and love without truth is hollow, but when both come together, that’s where God moves.

So today, choose to rejoice in truth. Even when it challenges you, convicts you, or humbles you, celebrate it anyway. Because real love doesn’t just want to be right; it wants to see right prevail.

Challenge/Reflection:

Ask yourself, do I celebrate truth, or do I celebrate when others get what they “deserve”?

Pray for a heart that rejoices in righteousness, even when it costs your pride.

Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
Thank You for another day. Thank You for waking me up this morning, starting me on my way, clothing me in my right mind, and allowing me to see the dawn of a brand new day.

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for all my sins and shortcomings, and I receive Your forgiveness in my heart. Create in me, O Lord, a clean heart. Purify my thoughts, and cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge of You, O God.

Lord, give me a heart that loves truth more than attention. Help me to celebrate what’s right and turn away from what’s wrong. Teach me to respond in love, not out of emotion, but out of obedience to You. Let Your truth win in my words, my reactions, and my relationships. In Jesus Name I Pray, Thank God, Amen.

Declaration:

I rejoice when truth wins. My love is pure, my motives are right, and my heart reflects God’s character, not the world’s culture.”
