Because Of Your Faith, It WILL Happen - April 22, 2025

Scripture:
”Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.”
—Matthew 8:13 (NIV)

Devotional:
When you think about faith, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? We know that faith is beliving in things not seen or physically present, but because of our trust in the One who created the world and who can do anything, we beleve that—even despite what we see or fee—those things we hope for can still come to pass.

Jesus wants us to have faith. The Bible even tells us that it’s impossible to please God without it.

In Matthew 8:13, Jesus told the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And immediately, his servant was healed. The moment the centurion decided to have faith and obey the command to go, he received the promise. His faith unlocked the miracle.

While in this life things may not always happen instantly, we can rest in this truth: because of our faith, it will happen. God honors faith. He sees it. He responds to it. Even when situations try to block your vision, play with your mind, mess with your emotions, or stand in the way of your breakthrough—your faith says, “I still believe God.”

Keep your faith. Don’t allow anything or anyone to shake it. It may not happen when or how you expect, but trust: because of your faith, it is going to happen.

It may not be easy, but with God all things are possible. Hold on to your faith and know—it’s working. God sees. God knows. He cares. And He’s on the way.

Reflection/Challenge:
Today, declare this boldly:
“Because of My Faith, It WILL HAPPEN!”
Write down what you’re beliving God for, and pray over it. Refuse to let doubt win today!

Prayer:
Lord, I love You and I thank You for all that You have done for me. I appreciate You and ask You for forgiveness for all of my sins and shortcomings. I repent and ask You to help me to do and be better. Lord, I am tired. It feels like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, and the thing—or things—I’m believing You for will never come to pass. It seems as if every time I feel like things are starting to change for the better, the worst comes.

Lord, I need You, because I don’t want to lose my faith—because it’s impossible to please You without it. I don’t want to displease You because of a lack of faith. So help me today to stand strong and firm in my faith despite the obstacles, despite the unforeseen circumstances, or what my actual reality looks like. Help me to trust You even more.

I love You, and I thank You for hearing my prayer today and working on my behalf. Please be with me, my family, and my friends throughout this day, and help us to keep our minds stayed on You. I love You, Jesus. In Jesus’ name I pray, thank God, and Amen.
