A shepherd is someone who tends, guides, guards, and provides for their sheep. In biblical times, the shepherd's role was not only to lead the flock to green pastures and still waters but also to fiercely protect them from danger and bring them back when they wandered.

When David said, “The Lord is my shepherd,” he was declaring full trust in God’s ability to provide, protect, and guide. And because the Lord is his shepherd, his everything, he boldly says, “I lack nothing.” That’s not just a poetic statement; it’s a powerful truth.

When we truly allow God to shepherd us, we find rest even in the midst of chaos. We may not have everything we want, but we are never without what we need. He is the source of provision, peace, and protection. Because He is watching over you, you will not go without. You are not abandoned. You are not lacking. The Lord is your shepherd, and that changes everything.

Psalms 23:1 NIV

We Have ALL That We Need In Jesus!

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
